If you will be requesting to work for PinHighCaddie as an independent sub-contractor please list your Business License number. Please do not waste my time by calling to ask if you can work for cash. All PinHighCaddie employees and SubContractors will be paid according to state laws and regulations. Our payment schedule will be twice a month and all tips will be paid directly to the caddies.

All loops will be scheduled by PinHighCaddie and will be assigned to caddies at the sole discretion of PinHighCaddie. There will be no putting names on a list and sitting around. Our loops will be scheduled by the availability of our caddies and the skill set that matches our customer requests. Obviously those caddies with the greatest availability and skills to service our clients will be in greater demand. All caddie scheduling will be done in advance giving you the caddies greater flexibility in your schedule and guaranteed work upon your arrival to the specified club. Some exceptions may occur if a caddie chooses to work on a standby basis at some of our private clubs. Standby times will not be paid by PinHighCaddie unless previously agreed upon and specifically assigned by PinHighCaddie. We will do this on occasion to service our private club clients who may be in need of our services for an event, club match, or on weekends when T sheets are full.

All Caddie rates for the state of Washington will be:

Rate 1 = Minimum wage $8.07
Rate 2 = Minimum wage * 1.5 = $12.10
Rate 3 = Minimum wage * 2 = $16.14

Single bag loops and forecaddie twosome rate 1
Forecaddie loops threesome and foursome rate 2
Double bag loops rate 3

The gratuity scale on the website should function as an indicator as to what you may receive during a paid loop. PinHighCaddie makes no promises or contractual agreement as to the gratuity amount. PinHighCaddie will only being paying the caddie the rates specified above for the specific contracted loops.

If you do a good job for a single loop:

Rate 1 *4.5 hours = 36.30 plus 20 tip = 56.30 = $12.50 an hour

If you do an exceptional job
Rate 1 *4.5 hours = 36.30 plus 50 tip = 86.30 = $19 an hour

Using the same figures if you were to do a double bag loop and do an exceptional job
Rate 3 *4.5 hours = 72.63 plus 80 tip = 152.63 = $33.91 an hour

As you can see being a caddie is a great opportunity. The ability of a caddie to generate a higher hourly rate is dependant upon that caddies ability, knowledge of the game, communication skills, and overall customer satisfaction.. Being a caddie is very physically demanding and extremely rewarding. You have the opportunity to spend several hours with CEO’s and T.V. Starts, Doctors, Lawyers, Fireman, Policeman and many different small business owners. The impression you may leave on them may lead to a number of other working relationships and open the door for a very successful future. PinHighCaddie makes no promises to the amount customers must pay for gratuity. Just like being a waitress or a waiter, for the most part you will receive more than you deserve from some clients and less from others. Nevertheless our level of professionalism and customer service should not change. I have carried two bags while pushing another on a cart during a six hour round and received a 10 dollar tip from each of the golfers and I have been out for a round with a single bag client after a 3 hour round and received several hundred dollars. In both instances I was the same guy providing the same level of service. I like to think that over time it will “all come out in the wash.”
